Federal Court Lets Class Action Against People Search Websites Proceed by Christopher Hazlehurst, J.D. | Aug 09, 2022
Carter Spohn, Director of Millennium Intelligence Agency, was recently interviewed for a Law Commentary article discussing a federal class-action lawsuit filed against the operator of several “people search” websites. Mr. Spohn explained some of the pitfalls associated with using these sites, including the lack of context of the information provided, the inability to know if the information is current or accurate, and the subscription-based financial schemes these companies incorporate.
